After running a scan of your AWS environment, a report will be added to your account.
You can access your scans by clicking the Audit dropdown and selecting "View a Report." Then select the desired report.
Your will be shown an overview of the report, which shows the following:
- Number of EC2 Instances scanned on the account
- Number of IAM roles on the account
- Number of "Warning" findings
- Number of "Critical" findings
- A display of different reviewed subjects with the most urgent finding's status displayed at the top
Clicking on one of the subjects (Configuration Management, Network Monitoring, etc.) will display the checks completed in your AWS environment that are relevant to that subject. Each check will display one of three statuses:
- Critical - The scan discovered a critical finding that is a high priority and requires action
- Warning - There was a finding on this check, but it has not yet reached the critical status and is a lower priority
- Good - There were no issues found with this check
Opening one of these checks will display the findings from the check, a description of its importance, a list of steps to fix the issue, and a video to provide additional guidance on securing your AWS environment.
